Monte Carlo Light Grey Suit

If you're on the hunt for an elegant and sophisticated spring/summer suit that turns heads - look no further!

When creating this Monte Carlo Light Grey Suit, I took inspiration from James Bond's visit to the Bahamas in Casino Royale (click here for an example); however, I took the time to improve upon 007's efforts.

How? Well, unlike Mr. Bond's loosely (read: poorly) fitted linen suit, this masterpiece will be impeccably tailored to your frame. And, unlike linen - which has its place but is not a particularly versatile material - this light grey suit is crafted from a luxurious Super 120s 270g/m 100% Wool.

This jacket is fully canvassed (horsehair and chest haircloth), which gives it structure and shape and creates a more natural drape over the body. 

The wider 11 CM (4.3 Inch) notch lapels broaden the upper body and complement your taller frame. They are finished with a Milanese buttonhole. 

I added roped shoulders (a subtle ridge or roping effect along the shoulder line) to add a commanding presence, double vents in a traditional British style, and patch pockets because this is, after all, an informal suit. 

The high-rise, pleated trousers come with side adjusters, ensuring a comfortable and precise fit. As with all my trousers, there are no belt loops—because when your trousers fit perfectly, who needs a belt? 

I really wanted to create something special with this suit, and the devil is very much in the details: it features pick stitching along the lapels, shoulders, and pockets in a slightly darker shade of grey - a subtle detail that adds a touch of opulence.

This really is one of my favourite suits. In my opinion, it is vastly superior to anything the big fashion houses create—at a fraction of the price. 

• The photos accurately depict the light grey colour, though, as you can see, lighting conditions affect the tone. The light grey resembles this hex colour: #CBCBCB.

Note

• Super 120s wool is quite delicate. It is a high-quality, fine wool that is softer and smoother than lower-grade wool, but it also requires more care.
• This is a 'casual suit,' in that the light grey is not appropriate for formal work or evening wear.
• I try to be as genuine as possible with my photos because there's nothing worse than receiving a suit that doesn't look like the promotional pictures. For this reason, I avoid professional photoshoots, which can be misleading. All photos showcase the actual suits you will receive. 
  

Care

• Dry clean only.

• Do not even think about ironing this suit. Please, buy a clothes steamer. 
• Use a broad, contoured hanger that supports the shoulders to maintain the suit's shape.
