Gatsby Suit

My latest creation is this Great Gatsby-inspired pink suit. Think Robert Redford’s wide lapels from the original, but with the sharper, slimmer silhouette worn by Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s bold, elegant, and impossible to ignore.

This is a true showpiece - crafted to stand out in the best way.

The jacket is fully canvassed using horsehair and chest haircloth, giving it shape, structure, and a natural drape that flatters the body.

The wide 11 cm (4.3 inch) notch lapels broaden the upper body and emphasize your taller frame. Finished with a hand-sewn Milanese buttonhole, they add a refined, sartorial touch.

Roped shoulders lend a more commanding silhouette. I added double vents in a classic British style and patch pockets for a slightly relaxed, informal edge—just as Gatsby might’ve worn at a garden party.

The high-rise, pleated trousers feature side adjusters for a precise fit. No belt loops, of course—because when trousers fit this well, you don’t need a belt.

Details matter. This suit features pick stitching on nearly every visible seam—including lapels, shoulders, pockets, rear centre seam, sleeve outseam, and sleeve slits. While subtle, it catches the light just enough to stand out, adding texture and visual depth. The result is a beautifully elegant suit with a handcrafted finish rarely seen today.

This is, without question, one of my personal favourites. It far outshines anything from the big fashion houses—and for a fraction of the price.
